  In the evening, at 17:00, join our general pre-trek briefing and gear check at the hotel. Our managers will prepare you for the climb and ensure that you have everything you need.

• 
  In the morning, your guide and mountain support crew will meet you at the hotel for a quick briefing. Afterward, you’ll embark on a 3-4 hour drive to Londorossi Gate (2,250 m / 7,380 ft), the western entrance to Kilimanjaro National Park. Following the formalities of obtaining climbing permits and registering with the search and rescue service, your group will begin the trek to Mti Mkubwa Camp (2,650 m / 8,692 ft), your first stop on the journey.

   

  Rainforest Trek:
  This day’s route takes you through the lush rainforest, where raincoats are essential due to the high likelihood of showers. Upon arrival at the camp, our professional crew will have already set up your tents and prepared lunch.

   

  Acclimatization Hike:
  After lunch, you’ll head out on a short acclimatization hike toward Shira 1 Camp (3,095 m / 10,154 ft), gaining 300 meters (984 feet) in altitude. This easy hike is designed to enhance your acclimatization process, significantly boosting your chances of a successful summit while minimizing the risk of altitude sickness. Afterward, you’ll return to Mti Mkubwa Camp for a hot dinner and overnight stay.

   

  Important Notes:

   

  Hydration: Drink over 4 liters of water throughout the day in small, frequent sips.
  Altitude Medicine: Consider preventive altitude medication, taken in the morning before starting the ascent. Consult your doctor before the trip to discuss suitability and potential allergies.
  Altitude Discomfort: At night, reduced oxygen levels may cause mild symptoms such as headaches. Listen to your body, and inform your guide immediately if you feel unwell.

  The trek from Mti Mkubwa Camp to the second high-altitude camp, Shira 1 Camp (3,610 m / 11,841 ft), is relatively easy and takes about 5-6 hours, covering a distance of 5 km. This gradual ascent helps with acclimatization, which is crucial for trekking. Upon arrival, your team will prepare lunch, and you'll have time to rest in your tent or explore the nearby area.

  On this day, you’ll trek from Shira 1 Camp (3,610 m / 11,843 ft) to Shira 2 Camp (3,850 m / 12,628 ft). This hike is relatively easy and offers spectacular views of the African savannah, Kilimanjaro's unique flora, and, weather permitting, Mount Meru.

   

  During the trek, you can optionally hike up Cathedral Peak (3,872 m / 12,703 ft) for panoramic views of the valley below. This is a straightforward climb with no technical challenges, but if weather conditions are poor or you prefer to skip it, you can head directly to Shira 2 Camp without affecting acclimatization.

   

  Upon arrival at Shira 2 Camp, you’ll have lunch and then embark on an acclimatization hike towards Lava Tower Camp, gaining 300 m / 984 ft in altitude.

This section involves several ascents and descents, and while some parts may be challenging, spending 1-2 hours at Lava Tower helps with acclimatization. You’ll have lunch here before descending to Barranco Camp (3,900 m / 12,795 ft).

   

  At Barranco Camp, you'll see the impressive Barranco Wall, which you’ll climb the next day. The wall is large and steep, but the trail is straightforward and not intimidating.

  You’ll start early with a hearty breakfast before hiking the Barranco Wall. To avoid crowds, it’s best to leave the camp as early as possible. The climb up the wall is straightforward and takes about an hour. After the climb, you can rest and take photos in front of Kibo Volcano.

   

  Next, you’ll tackle a more challenging hike to Karanga Camp, with several ascents and descents. Don’t worry—our guides will manage a comfortable pace for the group. After arriving at the camp and having a warm lunch, you’ll complete an acclimatization hike towards Barafu Camp, gaining 200 m / 656 ft in altitude before descending back to Karanga Camp.

  Night Ascent to Uhuru Peak
  Your summit adventure begins under the starlit sky as you depart from Barafu Camp (4,673 m / 15,327 ft) for the final push to Uhuru Peak (5,895 m / 19,336 ft), the highest point in Africa. The climb is technically straightforward, but the high altitude makes this a physically demanding challenge. To ensure safety, each pair of climbers will be accompanied by a personal guide to monitor their condition closely.

   

  Upon reaching the summit, you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking views and the incredible sense of achievement that comes with standing at the roof of Africa. If desired and conditions permit, you may visit a nearby glacier before beginning your descent.

   

  Descent to Barafu Camp
  After celebrating your accomplishment, you’ll return to Barafu Camp for a well-deserved two-hour rest.

   

  Continuing to Millenium Camp
  Following your rest, you’ll continue the descent to Millenium Camp (3,950 m / 12,956 ft). The trek down requires focus and care, as 90% of accidents on Kilimanjaro occur during the descent. Be mindful of your footing to avoid injury, particularly to your toes.

  After breakfast, you’ll begin your descent toward the park's exit, Mweka Gate (1,640 m / 5,379 ft). The trek covers 12 km and takes approximately 4-5 hours, with a gradual descent through the rainforest, offering a peaceful and scenic conclusion to your climb.

   

  Celebration and Departure
  Upon reaching Mweka Gate, you’ll gather with your group for a moment of celebration and congratulations. You’ll have the opportunity to share your experiences and thoughts about the climb in the guestbook. Your journey will be officially recognized with the presentation of your commemorative certificates.

   

  Finally, a transfer will take you back to the hotel, where you can relax and reflect on your incredible adventure on Mount Kilimanjaro.
